New York Liberty fire head coach Chris DeMarco after just one season

What the coverage says

The New York Liberty have dismissed head coach Chris DeMarco following a single season that ended with a playoff sweep by the Dream. CBS Sports notes that the decision leaves the franchise searching for its third coach in three years. Yahoo Sports reports that the team finished the year with a 28-18 record amid a tumultuous campaign involving defensive struggles and a controversy dubbed "ResetGate." Yahoo Sports adds that the organization announced the move on Tuesday following a tenure that began when DeMarco arrived from the Golden State Warriors in December.
