Missouri’s Eli Drinkwitz shoots down Florida State rumors

What the coverage says

Missouri football coach Eli Drinkwitz has explicitly denied being a candidate for the vacant head coaching position at Florida State. Florida State opened the job after firing Mike Norvell following a third consecutive loss that dropped the team to a 3-5 record. Both Yahoo Sports and CBS Sports report that Drinkwitz addressed the speculation directly, with CBS Sports noting that the denial came ahead of the No. 19 Tigers' upcoming game against Texas and a difficult November schedule.
