BBC
What the coverage says
Americans are voting today in congressional races that will determine control of both the Senate and the House of Representatives. The elections decide which party holds Congress for the remainder of Donald Trump's second term. The BBC describes the vote as "closing chapter" for Trump, framing the outcome as a test of politics without him. The Guardian coverage similarly characterizes the midterm elections as a "referendum on Trump" and his policy agenda.
